Capturing Connection with Intention

I’ve been making pictures since I was a little girl, inspired by my late father who was a passionate hobbyist photographer. To this day, I still shoot many of my analogue images with his 35mm camera, my most prized possession.

Since becoming a mother, my urge to capture the moment only increased. I look back at images of my daughter when she was tiny and am instantly transported back to the feeling of her tiny fingers curled around mine, her huge blue eyes gazing up at me as she fed, the scent of her beautiful little baby-fresh head. This is the essence I want to give to you in your images, capturing those feelings and sensations in this very moment, showing you as you are, empowered, tender and filled with love. Whether we are making solo images, couples, maternity, wedding or family, that essence is the same - I want you to have images with heart, depth and feeling, showing the beauty of and around you, now and in the in-between moments.

Alongside my photography work, I am a producer and filmmaker and have directed countless documentaries, music videos and branded content pieces. My background in documentary has led me to a very human-centric approach within my photography, and as a filmmaker I bring my storytelling instincts to your photoshoot, co-creating a narrative with you through a mixture of guided, editorial style images alongside more candid moments. My clients often comment on my ability to support them with feeling at ease and giving direction in front of the camera. My direction is gentle, tapping into what is needed in the moment to draw out with intention the authentic, vulnerable and tender you.

I am also a trained yoga teacher, doula and reiki practitioner and I love to weave the gentle wisdom of all of these skills into my photographic work, resulting in a unique and heartfelt experience for my clients.
